The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jaganmohan Reddy, is set to lay the foundation stone for an international greenfield airport in Bhogapuram, located in the neighboring Vizianagaram district. This event is scheduled to take place on May 3, and the chief minister is expected to address a public meeting during the ceremony.
The foundation stone for the airport will be laid near the villages of A. Ravivalasa and Savaravilli in the Bhogapuram mandal area. In addition to this, Jaganmohan Reddy will also lay the foundation stone for the pending works of the Tarakarama Teerthasagar project, which is estimated to cost Rs. 194 crore. Furthermore, the construction of Chitapalle jetty will also be initiated on the same day at the same venue.
