The Industries Minister of Telangana, KT Rama Rao, has criticized the BJP government for its double standards in levying GST on ordinary people, including essential items such as milk and curd, while exempting corporate giants like Adani Group from the tax.
The latest instance of exemption is the transfer of the Jaipur International Airport to the Adani Group, which has been leased out to them by the union government for 50 years. The Minister has sharply criticized the exemption and accused the BJP of opportunistic politics over its stand on freebies.
