On Friday, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) achieved the second-highest total in the history of Indian Premier League (IPL) by scoring 257/5 in 20 overs against Punjab Kings (PBKS). Marcus Stoinis was the top scorer for LSG with 72 runs off 40 balls. The highest total ever scored in IPL was on April 23, 2013, when Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) scored 263/5 against Pune Warriors India (PWI).
