It was during this time that Anuradha crossed paths with Prabhakar Reddy, the proprietor of Varalakshmi Tiffins. As their friendship grew, Anuradha confided in him about her drug dealings. Together, they concocted a plan to purchase drugs in Goa and transport them to Hyderabad using a private bus. Their intention was to sell these drugs at inflated prices to customers in Hyderabad. To execute their scheme, they used communication platforms like WhatsApp and Snapchat to connect with potential buyers.
Additionally, Venkata Shiva Sai Kumar, another individual involved in this intricate web, sought Prabhakar Reddy’s assistance in starting a new eatery called “Palleturu Pullatlu” next to Varalakshmi Tiffins. As their friendship blossomed, they both indulged in drug consumption.
The unfolding of events took a significant turn on September 10th, 2023, when Koteshwar Rao, a Sub-Inspector of Police, acting on credible information, along with the Special Operations Team (SOT) from Rajendranagar, rushed to the Outer Ring Road (ORR) Service at Indrareddynagar. There, they apprehended three individuals along with three cars.
Following the arrest, the police’s forensic team conducted a presumptive test on the suspected drugs, including cocaine, MDMA Ecstasy pills, and MDMA Crystal. The results of these tests confirmed the presence of narcotics drugs. This crucial evidence directly linked Anuradha, Prabhakar Reddy, and Venkata Shiva Sai Kumar to the drug sale operation.
